We recently purchased a single family home in San Carlos, and Soo (Julia) Kim was our realtor. Overall, we are very happy with Soo’s excellent service and we would like to give her the highest possible rating. Here are some details: 1. We started searching for a single family house in the Bay Area from February (2021) and it took almost 10 months to finally purchase a house we liked. All this time Soo (Julia) patiently supported us by providing timely updates on listings, disclosures for the houses we liked, and target offer price for each. She was quite diligent in estimating a good offer price by comparing nearby sales in the recent weeks for similar homes (in terms of sq. ft, upgrade, location, etc). In most cases her estimate was within striking distance of the final winning bid. 2. When we started searching for a house back in Feb there were no open houses due to Covid restrictions. To see a house one had to be accompanied by a realtor. Soo (Julia) drove all the way from her location (in east bay) to whichever houses we wanted to see during this time. We much appreciate her time and service. 3. For each of the houses we made an offer, Soo (Julia) thoroughly went over the disclosures and informed us about any potential issues or repairs that we should consider. 4. Soo (Julia) never pushed us into making exorbitant offer to any house. In fact, we remember, we were hesitating to make an offer to a house and Soo clearly told us not to make an offer under hesitation. 5. Before making any offer Soo (Julia) thoroughly went over our finance pre-approval and communicated with our loan agent. We went in fully prepared. 6. When we eventually purchased a house of our liking Soo (Julia) ensured all the steps/processes were followed without any headache. The purchase and closing was without any hassle, thanks to Soo and our loan agent. Again, we give the highest possible rating to Soo (Julia) Kim. We wish her much success in her career as a realtor. If ever in the future we consider buying a house we certainly would like to hire her as our realtor.
